INGREDIENTS
Veg oil - 1 tsp
Chana dal - 1/4 cup
Urad dal - 1/2 cup
Toor dal - 1/3 cup
Sesame seeds - 1/2 cup
Hing / asafoetida - 1/4 tsp
Salt - to taste
Dried red chilli - 12
Kashmiri chilli - 8
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves - 2 strip
PREPARATION
Veg oil - 1 tsp
Chana dal - 1/4 cup
Urad dal - 1/2 cup
Toor dal - 1/3 cup
Sesame seeds - 1/2 cup
Hing / asafoetida - 1/4 tsp
Salt - to taste
Dried red chilli - 12
Kashmiri chilli - 8
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Curry leaves - 2 strip
PREPARATION
- Take a pan and keep it in a medium flame
- Add 1 tsp vegetable oiland separately roast all the dals
- Dry roast the red chilli and kashmiri chilli separately
- Separately roast sesame seeds , turmeric powder , hinmg and curry leaves
- In a mixie jar add all the dry roasted ingredients and grind it to a coarse paste
- Serve the podi with gingelly oil or coconut oil
