Cream of mushroom soup

Craving for something hot. Well this is for you. Yummy hot mushroom soup

Ingredients
Mushroom - 100 g
Milk - 1/2 cup
Maida - 1/2 tbsp
Cream - 1 tbsp
Ginger- 1 tsp (chopped )
Garlic - 3 tsp (chopped)
Onion - 1 (Medium size chopped)
Water -
Butter - 1 tbsp
Salt
Pepper Powder - 2 tsp

Method

  1. Take a pan and add the butter to melt.After the butter has melted add the chopped ginger , garlic , onion and saute well till the raw smell goes off
  2. Now add the sliced mushroom and saute well. It will start to ooze water . Saute well
  3. Add 1/2 tbsp maida to the mushroom and saute well. The maida should be free from raw smell and lumps. Add 1 tsp of pepper to it
  4. Add water and cook well for 5 to 7 min . Now take 1/5 of the mix and blend it well in a mixie jar.
  5. Pour the blended mix back to the pan . Add milk , cream and mix it well . Add required salt and pepper powder 
Note : 
  • You can add thyme to the soup. It gives a different flavour 
  • Dont wash the mushroom under running water . Always wipe it with a kitchen towel.
