Papaya wine

PARUPPU VADAI / MASALA VADAI


Makes : 10 vada

Ingredients
Chana dal - 1 cup
Onion - 1
Green chilli - 3
Curry leaves
Fennel seeds - 1 tsp
Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt - as per taste
Oil  - To fry

Method:

  1. Wash chana dal (kadala paruppu) and soak well for 2 hours
  2. Drain the water and take the chana dal in a mixie jar.
  3. Add chopped onion , green chilli (chopped), curry leaves , chilli powder , salt and fennel seeds . Grind it coarsely .Dont add water 
  4. In a kadai take oil and heat it.
  5. Make small balls flatten it and put it in the medium heated oil. Just flip it once a side is cooked
  6. Once cooked , take it out drain the excess oil and put it in a tissue . Serve hot with tea
