INGREDIENTS
Raw rice - 2 cups
Coconut water - 1/2 cup
Coconut grated - 3/4 cup
Dosa batter - 3 tbsp
Cooked rice - 2 tbsp
Sugar - 1 tbsp
Salt - a pinch
Method
- Soak raw rice for 2 hours
- After 2 hours , in a mixie jar add soaked raw rice, coconut water , coconut grated , dosa batter , cooked rice and grind it to a smooth running batter .
- Allow it to ferment for 15 hours . After 15 hours add a pinch of salt and a spoon of sugar to the batter .Mix well , set it aside for 1/2 hour
- After half hour , take the appam pan and heat it with a closed lid.Now pour a ladle full of batter and swirl it once. Cover and cook for 1 min . Serve with stew, chicken curry , vegetable kurma etc
