Papaya wine

Nendran chips / banana chips (Homemade)

Ingredients
Unripe nendran banana - 3
Coconut oil / oil
Turmeric - 2 tbsp
salt
Water  - 2 tbsp + a bowl of water

Method

  1. Peel the bananas and cut it into thin slices using a  slicer / knife.Put it in a bowl with water
  2. Heat the oil in a kadai and drop the slices to the oil. Stir it with a spoon to avoid overcrowding
  3. Once it is half done pour 2 tbsp of turmeric water ( turmeric +salt ) to the chips . stir for even mixing.Take utmost care in this step.
  4. Fry until it is crispy and sizzling sound becomes less , take out from the oil , drain the excess oil and transfer it the paper towel
  5. Once it is cooled to room temperature , store it in a air tight container 


Note
You can also directly slice the banana in the oil but it requires practice
