Papaya wine

Paruppu curry


Ingredients
Moong dal/ pasi paruppu - 1 cup
Small onion - 3
Grated coconut - 1/2 cup
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
Garlic pod - 1
Curry leaves
Dry red chilli - 2
Coconut oil - 1 tbsp
Salt
Ghee - 1 tsp

Method :

  1. Wash the moong dal well and soak it in water for about 2 hours. Take a pan add water . When the water boils add the soaked moong dal and small onion
  2. cook the moong dal until it break. Add the turmeric powder , salt and mix it well
  3. In a mixie jar add the garlic , cumin  seeds and coconut and grind it to a smooth paste . Add this to the cooked moong dal and stir well .You can cook it for 5 more min .
  4. In a small pan add about 1 tbsp of oil. When the oil heats up add the mustard seeds . When the seeds splutter add the curry leaves , dry chilli. Now add this to the cooked moong dal
  5. Switch off the flame and pour a tsp of  ghee over the top. Serve hot with rice
