Ingredients
Poori:
Wheat flour / atta - 2 cups
Hot water
salt
Oil for frying
Masala
Potato - 4
Green chilli - 2
Onion - 1
Green peas - 1 tbsp
Oil - 1 tbsp
Garlic - 1 pod
Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
salt
Curry leaves
Method
Masala
- Boil the potatoes separately and peel it off and mash the potato
- In a kadai , pour 1 tbsp of oil, add some mustard seeds and curry leaves. Once the mustard seeds splutter add the chopped onion and saute well at medium heat .
- Now add the slit green chilli , chopped garlic and saute well . Add 1 tsp of fennel seeds (saunf) , turmeric powder and add 2 cups of water .
- After 5 min add the green peas and cover and cook for 5 more min
- After it is cooked add the mashed potatoes and add salt . Cook for 3 min . Serve hot with poori
