Papaya wine

Rasam


Ingredients
Oil - 1 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tbsp
Pepper powder - 2 tsp
Tomato -1
salt
Chilli powder   -1/2 tbsp
Turmeric powder  - 1 tsp
Coriander powder  - 1/4 tbsp
Cumin Powder -1/2 tsp
Mustard - 1/2 tsp
Tamarind - lemon sized
Hing / Asafoetida -1/2 tsp
Water - 3 cups
Curry leaves

METHOD

  1. Heat oil in a pan . Once the oil is hot , add mustard seeds and wait for it to splutter 
  2. Now add the curry leaves , ginger garlic paste and pepper powder . Saute till the raw smell goes off.
  3. Now add the chopped tomatoes and saute it . Then add the cumin powder , chilli powder , coriander powder and turmeric powder . Saute till the raw smell goes off
  4. Add  required amount of salt and add sufficient quantity of water .Allow it to boil
  5. Once it boils add the tamarind paste and simmer it . Switch off the flame and add hing/ asafoetida. Add chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with rice
