Papaya wine

Vanilla cookies with egg


INGREDIENTS
Maida/ all purpose flour - 2.5 cups
Sugar - 1 cup
Eggs -2
Vanilla essence - 1 tsp
Butter - 150 gm
Baking powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt - a pinch

PREPARATION

  1. In a  wide bowl add the butter and powdered sugar . The butter should be at room temperature . Beat till fluffy
  2. Now to the butter sugar mix add the eggs one by one and beat well
  3. Add the vanilla essence and salt and beat well
  4. Now add little by little maida and mix well.It will be slightly loose 
  5. Now keep the dough in the freezer for 10 to 20 min . In the meanwhile preheat the oven at 180 c  for 10 min
  6. After 10 to 20 min take dough from the freezer and spread the dough and cut into desired shapes with the help of cookie cutter or you can make any desired shape with your hand
  7. Now bake for 20 to 25 min at 180 c. I personally like a brown colour for my cookies . If you like a slight colour you can adjust the time
  8. Allow it to cool in a cooling tray . Cookies are ready to be served. Store in a air tight container
