Egg roast /how to make egg roast


Ingredients
Egg - 6
Ginger - 1/4 inch piece
Garlic - 4 cloves
Big onion - 4
Tomato - 1
Green chilli -2
Curry leaves - 3 string
Fennel seeds - 1/4 tsp
Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Kashmiri chilli powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
Coconut oil - 3 tbsp
Water
Salt
Sugar (optional)

Method

  1. Slice the onions and keep it aside.Boil the eggs and keep it aside
  2. Crush ginger , garlic , green chilli and fennel seeds
  3. In a pan add 3 tbsp of coconut oil. Once the oil is heated add the crushed ginger , garlic , green chilli and fennel seeds.Saute it,  don't allow it to burn
  4. Once it is sauted , add the sliced onions and saute it well till the colour of onion changes or it becomes translucent 
  5. Now add Pepper powder , turmeric powder,  coriander powder , kashmiri chilli powder , chilli powder and garam masala powder. Mix it well with the onions for about 3 min
  6. Now add a cup of water and cover and cook for about 5 min. After 5 min add the sliced tomatoes , mix well. 
  7. Then add salt and cover and cook for about 5 min
  8. Add a pinch of sugar to it. But it's optional 
  9. Cut the boiled eggs and add it to the masala. Put some masala on top of the egg. Cover and cook for about 2 min
  10. Serve it with appam and chapathi
