Ingredients
Banana stem - 2 cups
Shallots - 6
Garlic - 2 pods
Dried red chilli -6
Green chilli - 4
Coconut -3 tbsp
Curry leaves
Urad dal
Salt
Oil
How to make
- Clean the banana stem .Cut into round and then in small pieces
- Immediately put it in a bowl filled with salt water
- In a pan ,add the oil
- Once the oil gets heated up , add the mustard seeds .after the mustard seeds start to splutter add the curry leaves ,dried red chilli and shallots
- Now add the split urad dal
- Now add the chopped banana stem . Saute it.Once it's half cooked add the required salt
- In a blender add the grated coconut, garlic pods , green chilli .Whip it .
- Add it to the cooked banana stem .Check for salt .Once cooked switch off the flame .Serve immediately.
