Ingredients
Maida / all purpose flour - 100 g /(3/4 cup+2 tbsp)
Butter - 100 g
Baking powder - 1 tsp
Vanilla essence - 1 tsp
Sugar - 80 g /( 1/2cup+ 2 tbsp)
Egg - 2
Salt - a pinch
Method
- Preheat the oven at 180'c for 10 min. Line a muffin tray with cupcake liners
- Dry mix the maida and baking powder , salt, sieve it and set aside
- Now beat the butter .(The butter should be at room temperature).Now add the powdered sugar little by little and mix well with the butter
- Add the egg whites, beat well. Add the egg yolks beat well.Add the vanilla essence to it
- Now add half of the dry ingredients .Gently fold. Now add the remaining dry ingredients
- Now the cupcake batter is ready.Scoop the batter and fill half of the cupcake liners.
- Bake at 180 'c for 15 to 18 min.Remove from the oven and allow it to cool in a cooling tray
- Serve it along with buttercream frosting or frosting of your choice
