How to make Wheat cake (with egg)/ Wheat cake


Ingredients
Wheat flour - 1 cup
Brown sugar -1/2 cup
egg -2
butter -1/4 cup
Baking soda - 1/2 tsp
Baking powder - 1 tsp
Milk -1/4 cup
Vanilla essence - 1 tsp
Salt - a pinch

 How to make

  1. Preheat the oven to 175 c .Prepare the pan (I have used a 10 inch loaf pan)
  2. In a deep bowl , add the butter .Whisk it.Add the brown sugar , mix it well .
  3. Now add the eggs .Whisk it well till it is combined well
  4. Combine  the dry ingredients (wheat flour , baking soda, baking powder and salt) in a bowl and sieve Add the dry ingredients little by little and combine
  5. Add the milk. Gently mix till everything is combined .Lastly add the vanilla essence
  6. Transfer the batter to the pan and bake it for 30 to 35 min .Once done , take out from the oven . Allow it to cool , cut and serve

Notes
Brown sugar can be substituted with same quantity of white sugar
