Rice balls / Ari urunda

Ingredients
Brown rice / matta rice- 1cup
Grated coconut - 4 tbsp
Jaggery - 3 tbsp
Cardamon powder -a pinch

How to make

  1. Wash the rice 2 or 3 times . Drain the water .Spread the rice and allow it to dry
  2. In a pan add the soaked rice ,Dry roast it till crackling sound comes
  3. Allow it to cool.Powder the roasted rice to a coarse powder
  4. In a bowl add the grated coconut and jaggery . Combine it well using your hands.Add the cardamon powder. Combine it such a way that moisture will be there from the coconut
  5. Now add the rice powder. Mix well .Make small balls out . Store it in a air tight container
