Papaya wine

Coconut cookies (Eggless)




Ingredients
Maida/ all purpose flour- 1 cup
Butter - 50 gm
Sugar - 1/2 cup (unpowdered)
Vanilla extract - 1 tsp
Salt - a pinch
Baking powder - 1/2 tsp
Milk - 4 to 5 tbsp
Dessicated coconut - 3/4 cup + 2 tbsp


How to make

  1. Powder the sugar and set aside
  2. Dry mix the maida , salt and baking powder . Sieve it . Keep aside
  3. In a bowl add the butter .Beat it or whisk it till it is fluffy .Add the powdered sugar.Add the vanilla essence .
  4. Now add the 3/4 cup of dessicated coconut and mix it with a spatula.A
  5. Add the maida mix and combine it gently with hands .Add about 4 to 5 tbsp of milk .Mix it well with hands (not necessary to make it to a smooth dough)
  6. Preheat the oven at 180 c for 10 min 
  7. In a tray , keep a parchment paper. Make small balls slighly flatten it, dust dessicated coconut and keep it in the tray. Leave adequate space between each .
  8. Bake for 20 to 25 min. Allow it to cool and store in a airtight container
Notes
You can even shape the cookies
If you like chewy texture take out by 20 min
