Ingredients
Tapioca-1/2kg
Coconut - 1/2 cup
Garlic -1 pod
Cumin seeds -1tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt
Oil - 1 tbsp
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Curry leaves -1 sprig
Dried red chilli -2
How to prepare
- Wash the tapioca well . Remove the skin and cut into small pieces. In a deep pan, add water .Allow the water to boil
- Once it comes to boil , add the tapioca pieces .
- Once the tapioca is half cooked , discard the water and fill it with fresh water .Add required salt a, turmeric powder and cook
- Once it's completely cooked , drain the excess water .Smash it with the help of a wooden ladle
- In a mixie jar ,add the coconut ,cumin seeds and garlic.Pulse it
- Add the coconut mix to the smashed tapioca
- For tempering , in a pan add the coconut oil.once it's hot add the mustard seeds.once the mustard seeds splutter add the curry leaves and dried red chili .
- Add the tempering to the tapioca and mix well .Serve with fish curry
